Caroline
Caroline is married with one daughter, Michelle. Caroline has taught for 30 years in the exclusive private school system and loved her career and all the children that crossed her path. She began helping at the Sandra Jones Centre in 2016 as a volunteer and fell in love with the children. She is the school headmaster, as well as the fundraiser and social media manager. She also teaches full-time at Malibongwe!

Ntando
Aunty Ntando is single mom to 18-year old Nyasha, who is currently studying to be a nurse and caretaker. She holds a diploma in Early Childhood Development from a local college as well as an international diploma in Montessori Education. She is a loving and fun teacher who enjoys implementing new interactive activities in her classroom.

Zibusiso
Zibusiso is married with 4 wonderful children of her own. She is always going out of her way to help others and is intuitive to the students’ needs. On top of her regular class, she provides one-on-one teaching to an older student with special needs, who is currently learning how to read.

Pathi
Pathi has been at the school since 2017 and has helped shape the school to what it is today. She is very musical and has introduced marimbas to the students. She is kind, honest, and has a way of challenging the students to push themselves out of their comfort zone. Pathi is married with three children of her own.

Ethel
Ethel is a retired school teacher who decided to return to the classroom to continue educating children. She now teaches the final year of primary school and prepares the students for end of year exams which is required for them to progress to secondary school. Ethel loves working with this age group! She is married with children and grandchildren.

Shamiso
Shamiso arrived at the Sandra Jones Center at the age of 9 and finished high school in 2019. Upon graduation, she began helping in the classrooms and it was quick to see that was a natural teacher. She has continued to shadow Carol in the classroom and she has been studying to obtain her Montessori Teachers diploma, which will be completed this year.

Pepi
Pepi is the mother of two daughters and has a diploma in Early Childhood Education. She joined Malibongwe School in 2023 and is a thorough and meticulous teacher whose students adore. Besides teaching, Pepi has spent time volunteering with the Sandra Jones Centre, as well.

Godie
Godie started working at Malibongwe School in January 2023. He has excellent computer skills, which he is able to pass along to the students. This is a vital skill for children to learn and Godie loves teaching them. He has also started a soccer/football club which the children enjoy immensely.

Patience
Patience is creative and outgoing, and her class is full of arts and crafts, sharing beauty and color with the children and all who visit her classroom. The chatty older children really connect with her. Patience is the mother to a 4 year old girl.
